Fiesta Mexicana: Authentic Mexican Cuisine in Mount Vernon, OH

Fiesta has the best chips and salsa! The chips are crispy, not greasy at all. The food is really good. We used to come here all the time but haven’t been in years just because we never end up in Mount Vernon anymore. The burrito was pretty good, I would try something else next time.

This is a great place. Cozy, colorful, and authentic. The service was excellent, the ambiance was inviting, and the food was both reasonably priced and tasty. I had a frozen peach margarita, which had a generous amount of tequila, a chicken quesadilla, and a steak taco on corn tortilla with cilantro. Overall, this is a superb choice for lunch or dinner.

First time I went it was amazing second time it was okay but that was carry out. I'll let you know the third time and revise it. The carryout food was not great, but completely the opposite when we die there. Very good Mexican food, almost great, another sit down and I'll let you know!

This is the standard that I judge all Mexican restaurants by. The interior is gorgeous, decorated with colorful murals and signage on the wall. The seating is intimate without feeling lonely, this location is also a bit more loud and higher energy than the Coshocton ave location, but that's something I enjoy, makes your meal feel more like an event. The food is the best Mexican food you'll ever have, I've been to many different Mexican places all over Ohio and Florida and can say, hands down this is the best one, food is fresh and unique, while mostly offering Tex-Mex staples you'll find more exotic offerings, such as Molè as well. The Bar has almost any type of liquor you'd want and the Margaritas and Long islands are made VERY strong (more than 1 and you'll leave pretty intoxicated) but are made so well that the taste of alcohol isn't overpowering. This place is often very busy but never so much that reservations are required (except maybe for the exception of a large party). If your from out of town make sure this is the one place you try before you leave.

We were there when it was VERY busy so service was a bit slow and inattentive. However, everything WAS delicious. I was blown away by their Guacamole as my wife always gets it any chance she gets and I always "think" I want some but I'm not usually a fan. I LOVED this guacamole, one of the best I've had. I also tried a very fun dish that was shrimp stuffed with cheese and Jalapeno, wrapped in bacon, skewered, and deep fried! Served over sauteed peppers and onions. Super delicious though I'd love more cheese and pepper (it mostly was just shrimp and bacon). But - can't go wrong with bacon-wrapped shrimp, make Ron Swanson proud!

Had the lunch buffet. Excellent! Affordable. The place was clean and staff friendly.

Excellent steak, chicken, shrimp fajitas. Way more than you can fit into 3 tortillas. Service was fast and friendly. Stopped here passing through, was a great find!

A charming restaurant with beautiful art pieces and tasteful decorations that add to its appeal. Conveniently located on a busy street, it offers both street and side-lot parking options. The staff was welcoming and the place was well-staffed, though the service could use some improvement—our waiter took longer than expected to check on our table. That said, the food truly stood out! Great portion sizes, fantastic flavors, and overall a delicious experience. Would recommend for anyone looking for a satisfying dining experience!
